Run this:
Mark Of Pain - Barbs - Rigor Mortis - Meekness - Enfeebling Blood - Assassin's Promise - <Optional> - <Optional>
Use Morgahn with Go For The Eyes, Watch Yourselves, Shields Up.
Use MM or MB hero.
Use the hench paragon, the archer, the two monks.
Call every hexed target (especially the Mark of Pain target) for hench/hero to focus fire.
It's fun, it works and it's not SS.
Oh, forgot to give you attribs, 12+1+xCurses, 10+1SR, 8DeathlyArts
You can throw in Ebon Vanguard Sin Support and Finish him if you want.

Ooh! Very interesting build! I am not home atm, but I will definitely give it a try. Good thing I already brought my necro through factions to get assassin's promise. Do you find lightbringer's gaze to be particularly useful in these areas? I always have lightbringer selected as my title for the bonus that gives.
Also, do you find /A as your secondary more effective than, say, /Me for empathy, etc?
Thanks again.

with a high enough rank, LB gaze is VERY effective, it does strong aoe damage, not to forget the aoe interupt too which is always very useful

Empathy is trash in PvE. Backfire is trash in PvE. Generally speaking all mesmer spells and mesmer elites that really have an own function are outclassed in a PvE setting compared to the N options. Exception is interrupts since N has almost none.
I haven't brought a mesmer hex spell on my bar for more than half a year in PvE, and back then, it was Web of Disruption.
The real reason to go /Me for a N in PvE is simply for some very few utility spells. Power Return. Arcane Echo. Cry of Frustration. MAYBE you could make a case for Arcane Conundrum but... probably not. Soul Reaping laughs in the face of the entire Inspiration e-management line.
If you aren't concerned with interrupts or spell copying on your hex bar, forget /Me. Also the SinPromise option ensures you're going to be able to spam those hefty recharge hexes WAY WAY more often than with echo chains or what not.

What have u got against SS?
Edit: Isn't Shadow of fear better than meekness? Heavy sac and energy cost.

I have nothing against SS, it's just boring after having played it forever. The MoP nuker build will do comparable damage - actually, my feeling is it does more damage with the correct team build and play.
The entire point of the build is cutting high recharge hexes low with SinPromise. Meekness is "in the area" which makes it better.

If you have GW:EN PvE skills as well, and decent ranks in the various titles: SS/MoP/Pain Inverter/Necrosis/InsidiousParasite/3 optional (I usually take Parasitic Bond as cover hex, even though it's not needed, and Enfeebling Blood/Lightbringer's Gaze/You Move Like a Dwarf!, plus a rez)
EDIT: If you're going to run blood, go with Spoil Victor - but the AoE offered by SS/MoP will do a LOT more overall damage, assuming you're playing with a group and not solo farming.

Well, here's the build I beat the realm of torment with, (thanks to everyone who helped):
Soul reaping: 12 + 2 + 1
Curses: 12 + 1
[skill]parasitic bond[/skill][skill]spiteful spirit[/skill][skill]mark of pain[/skill][skill]reckless haste[/skill][skill]barbs[/skill][skill]enfeebling blood[/skill][skill]resurrection chant[/skill][skill]hexer's vigor[/skill]
I really like hexer's vigor as a way to keep myself healed, and the all-hex build means it won't get knocked off of me. I lack direct damage, but I've noticed that my wand attacks trigger barbs, (whether this is a nice side effect or unintended is beyond me). Parasitic bond could probably be dropped, but it is a nice supplement to my self healing. Having a 15 in soul reaping is all the energy management I need. I do find barbs' 2-sec casting time a bit of an issue, which is weird because other skills on this bar also have a 2-sec casting time. Perhaps its single target nature makes it more noticeable. I still have to try that assassin's promise build the other respondent mentioned, as it interests me. Thanks again!

Well you were either mistaken, or it's unintended. I know of no wands which deal physical damage...

Consider double "Halves Casting Time" mods, such as those on a [wiki]Modti's Depravation[/wiki], or a 40/40 wand/focus set, or the EotN PvE skill [wiki]Mindbender[/wiki].
There is nothing to stop you carrying a Spear + Focus/Shield set (dealing Physical Damage, obviously) so that you can trigger Barbs and Mark of Pain yourself, without relying only on heroes.

Actually, I have noticed this aswell. but its not constant. If I wand a Barbed target with my necro, then sometimes it triggers barbs and sometimes it doesnt. Sounds like it is a game bug.... but not one which I would find gamebreaking.

How do you know you're triggering barbs? Are you seeing extra yellow numbers?
I just tested this and I didn't see any extra damage

Is there a ranger/paragon in your team that could be hitting at the same time? That seems much more likely.
